14.03.2021 – HELLENIC HALYVOURGIA ACTIVELY SUPPORTS THE EARTHQUAKE AFFECTED PEOPLE

Hellenic Halyvorgia showed once again its social sensitivity by donating 8 small houses that will accommodate earthquake affected people in Thessaly.

The immediate and practical aid of Hellenic Halyvourgia was commended by the Regional Governor Mr. Kostas Agorastos with his statements during their receipt on Saturday March 13.

Mr. Agorastos pointed out the value of this offer by saying: “We thank the Hellenic Halyvourgia that in a call of the Region of Thessaly for help in small houses contributed on its own initiative from the very  first moment to offer 8 small houses throughout Thessaly which is very important . We are grateful that Halyvourgia actively supports and helps people in need.”

In every difficult moment of the local society, Hellenic Halyvourgia acts immediately and quietly reflecting its human face. After the valuable help and donations to the Volos Hospital for the treatment of the COVID 19 cases, the people of Hellenic Halyvourgia responded immediately to the call of the Region of Thessaly and the Regional Governor Mr. Agorastos and proceeded to the donation of the housing units.

The employees Hellenic Halyvourgia also showed their full support to the earthquake affected people of Thessaly by collecting and offering basic essentials.

Hellenic Halyvourgia , one of the largest Greek industries, is always at the side of the inhabitants of Thessaly, with empathy towards their every need, as an integral part of the local society. The Director of the Halyvourgia Plant Mr. Thomas Zachos handed over the small houses to Palamas Karditsa in the presence of the Regional Governor of Thessaly Mr. Kostas Agorastos, the Deputy Governor of the Regional Unit of Karditsa Mr. K. Nousious and the Mayor of Palamas Mr. G. Sakellariou.   The rest of the small houses were handed over to Grizano Farkadona to the Vice- regional governor of the Regional Unit of Trikala, to Mr. Michalakis, in Amouri Elassona to the Mayor Mr. N. Gatsas and in Damasi Tirnavos to the Mayor Mr. Κokouras.
